Israel has offered multiple two state solutions that are supported by most Israeli's and Palestinians but continually get derailed by Hamas and other hardliners. In the 2000 Camp David Summit, Ehud Barak, then Prime Minister of Israel, offered to form a Palestinian state, initially with 73% of the West Bank and 100% of Gaza. In 10 to 25 years, the Palestinian state will expand to 92% of the West Bank. But Yasser Arafat, leader of the PLO, rejected the offer.

  9.  @zeeshanahmad-un3ql  Hamas won in 2006 and when the tide started to turn against them and it looked like they would lose they disallowed any further elections. Electing terrorists to be their leaders proved to be a foolish decision, obviously. Your comment also doesn't address the fact that most Palestinians want a two state solution but all attempts are derailed by Hamas.

Amazing how referendums are illegal in Russia but invading another country and forcing them to have sham referendums is somehow considered legitimate by Russia.
