  3. Hydrocarbon export revenue (a fat chunk of the economy) is down 90% since the start of the war. Russia is sanctioned to oblivion, the Ruble is in the toilet and Russia is going through one of the worse demographic collapses in history. Russia just banned the export of refined products because of fuel shortages. Oil and gas is all Russia can do and even that's falling apart. But sure the economy is booming, just ask them.
