At the start of the war if someone told me Putin would bend the knee to his caterer I'd think they were insane, but here we are.

@wolfswinkel8906 Putin called Pregozhin a terrorist and traitor and that he 'would be punished' then just allowed him to walk away. You can pretend this doesn't make Putin look incredibly weak if thats what makes you feel fuzziest inside. Putin also proved that he is willing to negotiate with terrorists, we'll see how that works out for him.

@wolfswinkel8906 Like I said Putin called Prigozhin a 'traitor and a terrorist' and that he 'would be punished.' Putin looks incredibly weak no matter how you try to spin it. It's a military maxim that during war a nation shouldn't open a second front unless they have an overwhelming advantage. They already tried to attack from a different angle, remember? It was a disaster and Russia retreated. If Russia attacked on some other angle it would be a gift for the Ukrainians. I already got to see them fight, Wagner shot down at least 7 airframes and Russia destroyed its own refinery, remember? and Prigozhin walked off into the sunset a free man. This has been a complete disaster and humiliation for Putin and Russia.

@wolfswinkel8906 To put this in perspective say the US invaded Mexico then after a year and a half of disastrous trench warfare with no progress and hundreds of thousands of casualties. Then Guy Fieri led his mercenary army to the Pentagon then when he was almost there Justin Trudeau struck a deal and Biden allowed Fieri to get away with no consequences.
