@OniksR So the plan was years of WW1 style attrition warfare? Of course they expected a quick war, Putin said in 2014 he could take all of Ukraine in two weeks.

@OniksR Its Russian state media, emphasis on the 'state'. They don't say anything without the Kremlin's say so. Why do you think Putin went on a mass firing spree of FSB agents for faulty intel? Do you really think the plan was a long stalemate with terrible losses?

@againstviralmisinformation510 Yeah, the top secret treaty that nobody spoke about or heard anything about that Putin forgot in his sock drawer until over a year and a half after the fact when he mentioned it in a press conference.
