@thalentekhuluse2829 Prior to Russia's invasion in 2014 less then 10% of Ukrainians wanted to join NATO. NATO expansion is a red herring, Russia was invading and annexing countries long before NATO existed. Did the US annex Cuba? All they did was confront the Russians. I guess if the Russians want to confront the US that's fine. All they know how to do is bully countries they think are weaker then them.

@Asphyxx Zelensky was the candidate Putin supported because he thought he would be weak and Russia could eat up Ukraine with no problem. That turned out not to be the case though, much to Russia's dismay.

@scallen3841 By 'kept' you mean brutally occupied right? Gee wonder why ex com bloc countries would want to be in an alliance to remain safe from Russia. Russia is doing a pretty good job of proving NATOs reason to exist. NATO might have disbanded at some point it was losing relevance, that was until this war, all Putin's managed to do with this war is enlarge it and strengthen it. If the Baltics weren't in NATO then they already would have went through all the BS Ukraine is. Russia sends in Russian troublemakers, then says ethnic Russians are in danger somehow, then invasion, establish puppet government, annex. Same garbage over and over.

@WeAreItt What did you learn on RT? That the retreat from Kyiv was a 'gesture of goodwill' and the Moskva sank due to high seas? Watch out for those Ukrainian war mosquitos.
