That's because they didn't stop aid. It only affects the FMF funding which has already been used. PDA and USAI programs for Ukraine remain unaffected per the Pentagon.

As of the end of December 2024, Russia occupied 18.14% (+0.07%) of Ukraine. Almost all of that was taken in 2014 and the opening days of 2022. Gains since have been marginal at best and at a high cost.

@ The aid they halted has already been given to Ukraine, it only affects the FMF program which has already been fully used up by Ukraine. Military aid is not effected. The Pentagon and Rubio have confirmed this.

@ For the third time, because you don't seem to be able to understand. This only effects FMF funding, which Ukraine has already received. This doesn't change military funding, Rubio and the Pentagon confirm this, so did Zelensky. You can believe whatever makes you feel fuzzy inside though.
