China is completely dependent on trade, if that goes away so does Chinese manufacturing. There are dozens of chip fabs in the US, including 27 that are being built. This number accounts for both expansions and new semiconductor fabs. You should do some basic research instead of posting silly comments.

  12.  @APDM_Analysis  Russia is food and energy independent and have commodities to spare. As does the US. The same sanctions on China and they would run out of fuel and starve. China is completely dependent on trade.

  13.  @APDM_Analysis  China is dependent on fertilizer imports for its food production and despite producing a mountain of food they produce nowhere near enough food for domestic consumption. They will starve because without fuel they cant have agriculture. You cant just turn off 90% of the inputs and hand wave it away by saying 'war economy'.
