@GodsDad98 You know China invaded Vietnam after the US left right? They just went in shot up the place took more casualtes then the US took in 10 years, then declared themselves victorious and went home. Also Tibet invasion (and later Tibet uprising), the Xinjiang conflict, the Sino Indian war, the second Sino Indian war, it's constant bullying of Taiwan and its other neighbors. Absolutely braindead.

@Lena-vw6ye Malacca is the least vulerable of them. Also China has the worst demographics in the history of our species, and they managed to do what no other country has done before, get old before they get rich. We don't even have a model to predict how screwed they are.

@uknwarrior7980 All ballistic missiles are by definition hypersonic. It also costs way more to build so you can have 1 hypersonic or 10 conventional. Furthermore the US had hypersonic aircraft in the 50's, do you really think they are behind?

True but even if by some miracle China were to capture all the chip fabs intact they still wouldn't know how to use them, if they could they would just build their own.

@genem895 Let me know if they replace the M4 with an AK, the AK is outdated the only reason they manufacture it is because the Americans like guns, even obsolete ones. You can literally go online and find blueprints for AK's, its not a secret. Do you understand the difference?

@lobster8009 the US didn't have stealth in Veitnam and only limited numbers in Iraq, that is no longer the case and China has nothing that can counter stealth.

@cin806 Chinese officers spend 40% of their time learning party ideology and most of the rest learning how to parade. They are also one of the few countries that can give Russia a run for most corrupt country around.

@lobster8009 huh? the J-20 is close to the F-35 in Xi's fantasy, even the Indians have said they have had no trouble tracking them on radar. And the close ups of the SU-57 show large gaps between the panels and it's held together with literal wood screws. Russian and Chinese fighters are 4th gen dressed up as 5th gen, although at least the J-20 exist unlike the perpetual prototype SU-57, though the Chinese still cant build engines and depend on the Russians for them and good luck getting those now. Also knowing stealth jets are active in a general area and being able to engage them are very different things.

@Lena-vw6ye China is the largest importer of food and energy on the planet by a huge margin and unless they figure out teleportation they are in serious trouble if they want to get belligerent. It doens't even need to be them, if Iran and Saudi Arabia have a war everyone in china will just sit quietly in the dark i guess. China didn't even release it's GDP numbers from last year because they couldn't even make up numbers that weren't laughable (and make up numbers is what they generally do). China was able to gain the upper hand in manufacturing because it was able to leverage it's huge low cost population, but they already did that, and wages are rising faster there then anywhere and they are no longer competitive. They've also proven themselves to be an unreliable partner with zero covid and wolf warrior diplomacy, which is why orders have been drying up, the rest of the world moved on and have been building up their own industrial base (the US is currently undergoing the fastest industrialization in its history including WW2 and Mexico is doing the same) Furthermore since the chip ban tech is finished in China, the only way they can get chips is smuggled in from third parties, its over. The one child policy was probably the most braindead policy decision in the last 100 years from any country, the only ones that rival it are some of Mao's idiotic policies that led to mass famine. You may be amazed to learn that in order to have a functioning economy you need young people to consume.

@genem895 Russia got the trademark for AK's in 1999 and then started demanding royalty fees from private companies, which is pretty much the hallmark of a declining state, you cant take out a trademark on something that's been in the public domain for 50 years and expect anyone to take it seriously. It would be like the UK suddently patenting tanks and demanding money for all the T-55's built its inane, do you understand? actual trademarks expire long before that, thats why you see gen 3 glock clones everywhere these days, the trademark expired. Russia/China use espionage to steal blueprints and directly copy US equipment. Again it's private companies making AK's in the US if Russia has a problem i guess they can take it up with them, in contrast its the Russian and Chinese state itself stealing and manufacuring goods.

Try rereading my comment I said they lost more then the US did in 10 years (though by Vietnamese counting they also lost more then they did in 20) them losing more in 2 months then 10 years was the point I was trying to make... Tell the Tibetans and Uighurs that are currently being genocided that their wars were of smaller scale, Jesus.

@andreypetrov4868 Lol the US is the second oldest continuous government on Earth after the UK they are quite stable. If you are looking for an unstable country look at China who's internal security army is as large as the PLA. Or Russia which collapsed twice in the 20th century and has a similar situation with Rosgvardia v its army.
