"The most important things in this war are the machines.... The United States is a country of machines. Without the machines we received through Lend-Lease, we would have lost the war." Nikita Khrushchev offered the same opinion. "If the United States had not helped us, we would not have won the war," he wrote in his memoirs. "One-on-one against Germany, we would not have withstood its onslaught and would have lost the war."

  10.  @montana6822  Putin said in 2014 he could take all of Ukraine in 2 weeks. Or do you really think that trench warfare that never ends was the plan all along? And the peace treaty conspiracy theory is pure fantasy.

  12.  @akshay9109  So why is Russia attacking across much of the front taking massive casualties if they aren't interested in gaining territory? Why did Russia hold sham referendums and annex Ukrainian territory? Why did Putin say he wouldn't give back any of the stolen territory? What you say has no basis in reality. Moreover prior to 2014 less than 10% of Ukrainians wanted to join NATO, and there were multiple NATO countries opposed to the idea. Ukraine's chances of joining NATO was effectively zero. This is a blatant land grab, what a foolish comment.
