@ He was the head of the central bank, not a politician I'm not sure why you would think he had any say on Brexit. He did publicly warn that it would result in economic woes for the UK, and he was right.

@IRLlosersQ yeah short term were going to have problems, but this is a transformational change far beyond the industrial revolution. There are NO jobs that are safe including tech bros it doesnt matter what they intend because they wont be able to compete with AI either, and if you think the government will sit there slack mouthed while 100% of the population becomes unemployed and flips the whole country over, I don't know what to tell you. Zero employment is the end goal here, you understand that right? then we reap the benefits of our post scarity technological utopia. Within a hundred years life will be so unrecognizable that a caveman would have an easier time adjusting to our modern way of life then we would to then, and shortly after that humanity will live as gods.

@sebastiangibson9671 He's referring to 2008 when multiple American banks collapsed and had to be bailed out. You don't consider that a difficult time? Canadian banks under Carney were in much better shape.
