Comments by "foil hat" (@foilhat1138) on "Russia is running out of tanks: AI analyzed satellite images of Russian military bases" video.
@Alien_isolationist They buy shells from NK at an inflated price, this is the same ammo that the Soviets gave to NK 40 years ago that they are buying, great deal. And yeah senseless destruction is about the only thing Russia excels at, how many golf carts and dirt bikes do you think it will take to capture Chasiv Yar?

@jamesgornall5731 Nobody is making fun of Russia for using dirt bikes and golf carts. They are making fun of them for using them for frontal asaults on fortified positions.

@coreyryanselbyfullgrabe4360 Russia has the 11th largest GDP. And they have higher production of some ammunition because they've been preparing since 2008 and been on a war footing for the past three years. NATO has much higher production in other areas.

@N4CR Russia did run through its stockpile of missiles. That's why the stopped firing them for about eight months and why the went with hat in hand to North Korea for more. Russia manufactures missiles, they are never goig to fully 'run out' but they did empty their stockpile.

@Alien_isolationist It's been ten years and Russia still can't take the Donbas, I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you bud.

No its from counting satellite images. McGregor has been wrong about every prediction he's made, and Ritter spends most of his time chasing minors. Find better hero's.

This is the silliest thing I've read in a while. Thanks for the laugh.
7
@jamesgornall5731 It means Russia is out of equipment in 12-18 months.
5
The data comes from counting tanks in satellite images.
3
@jamesgornall5731 Yes it was logical to throw away their best customers in Europe to bend the knee to North Korea. What Russia is doing is buying back ammo at an inflated price that the Soviets gave to North Korea decades ago.
3
@jamesgornall5731 The ISW was correct in it's assessment though.
3
@jamesgornall5731 What were you referring to when you said "ah, yes, I recall this prediction 2 years ago"?
3
@jamesgornall5731 No Russia isn't going to use atomic weapons, they would have used them by now if they could. Putin would be taken to the nearest eighth story window if he tried. You should know how appeasement and isolationism failed in the previous century if you are worried about history repeating itself. This of course has nothing to do with the topic being discussed.
3
@Alien_isolationist You sure like building strawmen. Hopefully one day you rejoin reality.
3
@Alien_isolationist "imagine thinking Russia went from ww2 tanks to dirt bikes & is still holding back Ukraine" This is the strawman I'm referring to little buddy. You are literally watching a video about Russia emptying out its depots in real time. Try to keep up.
2
@jamesgornall5731 You think Russia cares about international law? That's adorable. Putin, Shoigu and Gerasimov all have charges pending at the ICC.
1
@jamesgornall5731 Russia doesn't care about international law. Which is why Putin, Shoigu and Gerasimov all are wanted by the ICC.
1
@jamesgornall5731 your reply was deleted bud, want to try again?

@illomens2766 No, nobody says Russia's economy is the third largest. They are the eleventh largest. Also there aren't IMF and World Bank detectives, Russia self reports their cooked numbers and the IMF/WB take them at face value. Russia increased taxes and is mass spending on its military, this will increase GDP, but it isn't real growth. Ukraine's GDP is increasing around the same as Russia's if you want to know how useless that metric is.

@Alien_isolationist Another pointless comment that addresses nothing, good job.
