@madigorfkgoogle9349 True, even the US is only around 70% mission ready and that is world class. The US spends a fortune on maintenance and keeps its aircraft in the brand new innovation called hangars. Russia parks theirs outside for decades with minimal maintenance and prays they will be combat ready. Soviet airframes also have shorter lifespans than their US counterparts. Nobody knows how many Russian aircraft are mission ready, probably not even Russia, but most of the estimates I've seen are sub 50% and those estimtes were before the war and all the sanctions.

@nsambacharles5959 Huh? I assume you mean F16, it was European countries that asked the US if they could export them to Ukraine, not the other way around. Even if that wasn't the case your comment would still be completely idiotic.
