@alexkovin1951 Are you aware you are just making up statistics? Russia ranks 56th in terms of HDI, between Brunei and the Bahamas. It's fallen three places this year.

@alexkovin1951 Moreover all of Russia's GDP gains in recent years are 1. Russia's self reported numbers and completely unreliable. and 2. Massive government spending on its military isn't sustainable growth. Russia could spend all that money paying people to dig holes and fill them in again and the GDP would grow, but it isn't real growth.

@alexkovin1951 No they haven't, literally nobody makes this claim. Even if it was true (it isn't) development rates will generally always be higher in underdeveloped countries like Russia. Germany's GDP is double that of Russia's.

@alexkovin1951 Every place in Russia outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg is an absolute sewer. Per Russian State Statistics Service Rosstat, 22.6% of Russians do not have indoor plumbing. In rural Russia, almost 2/3rd's have no access to indoor toilets, 48.1% use outhouses and 18.4% do not have a sewage system.
