NATO isn't in Ukraine. It's Russia that needs to leave.
24
So why are you here?
11
It wasn't NATO that invaded Ukraine buddy.
8
@josdav07 You just wanted to support the 'propagandists' with the algorithm by posting multiple comments? Sure thing bud.
8
@sacreligious74 Please name the treaties you think NATO ignored.
7
@ThisUnderWorldOfDarkness Russia invading in 2014 started the war.
7
@EdwardJohns-e8k According to UNICEF Russia damaged or destroyed almost 3,800 educational institutions across Ukraine.
6
@TaitLawrence-xl2xb Apparently not you though.
5
@TaitLawrence-xl2xb Nope, you're just arguing. OP was just asking for evidence Russian children were being targeted.
5
@TaitLawrence-xl2xb Yeah they just accidentally smoked 3,800 schools, 630 churches, and 1,736 health care facilities, including a children's hospital. Oh and a theater with "children inside" written with huge letters.
5
@sergeikhripun Russia began it's invasion in 2014.
5
@sergeikhripun Crimea and the Donbas genius.
5
@sergeikhripun The 'little green men' were Russian, as Putin admitted. He also admitted that Wagner, who were in the Donbas since 2014 were regualar Russian forces. “I want to point out and I want everyone to know about it: The maintenance of the entire Wagner Group was fully provided for by the state. From the Ministry of Defense, from the state budget, we fully financed this group.”
5
@sergeikhripun GRU colonel Strelkov said much the same; his unit were Russian Armed Forces 'volunteers' Girkin said that this action sparked the Donbas War. "I'm the one who pulled the trigger of war. If our unit hadn't crossed the border, everything would have fizzled out, like in Kharkiv, like in Odesa"
5
Nobody attacked Russia buddy.
4
I think your dialogue tree is malfunctioning.
4
@sacreligious74 What was this mythical treaty called? I'll answer my own question, there was never any treaty regarding NATO expansion little buddy. Even Gorbachev said as much. He said "The topic of 'NATO expansion' was never discussed; it was not raised in those years. I am saying this with a full sense of responsibility. Not a single Eastern European country brought up the issue, not even after the Warsaw Pact had ceased to exist in 1991,"
4
@sergeikhripun Cadeau retired after SA allegations and Potts died in a plane crash in Maryland. What silly point do you think you are making? Ukraine is receiving aid from multiple countries. Just like Russia is from China, NK, Iran etc, none of those countries are in Ukraine either. Please get a clue.
4
@MankindFails Quoting the president of Russia and the leader of DPR separatist fighters is propaganda? Ok bud. Sorry the truth hurts.
4
@rickhawkins218 It wasn't a coup, it was a protest movement. The same government was in charge of Ukraine after the movement as before. What really happened was Russia embargoed Ukraine after Yanukovich tried to sign the EU association agreement, violating the Budapest memorandum in the process. This caused Yanukovich to backpedal, which was very unpopular and prompted protests. Nobody was asking for Yanukovich to flee the country, he did that on his own accord. They just wanted elections.
4
@Davidh741 Ukraine is a sovereign state, if they want to join the EU it isn't Russia's business. Putin agreed, he said “Russia is creating the Single Economic Space in a large part of the former Soviet Union while at the same time building a common economic space with the European Union. Russia believes that building this common economic space with the EU is in the interests of both Russia and the EU countries and that this will harmonize economic ties. These projects are not in contradiction with the possibility of new members joining the EU, including Ukraine. President Vladimir Putin said he considers that if Ukraine were to join the EU this would be a positive factor that would help strengthen the system of international relations.” So why he decided to embargo Ukraine when they tried to sign the EU association agreement is a mystery.
4
@TaitLawrence-xl2xb Is that what you're doing with me right now?
3
@TaitLawrence-xl2xb Sure thing bud, thanks for proving my point for me. If you have so much time you could answer the other guys question, instead of posting pointless twaddle. Or you could just continue arguing about how you aren't arguing.
3
@99Eternal Nope, the whole thing started when Russia began it's invasion in 2014.
3
Nobody was even discussing putting nuclear weapons on Russia's border.
3
@inkednpoked Yes, you've repeated the same silly comment over and over. That doesn't make it true.
3
@sacreligious74 Putin himself has previously said he has no problem with NATO expansion. Though he changed his tune once he developed delusions of Empire. He said, “I am absolutely convinced that Ukraine will not shy away from the processes of expanding interaction with NATO and the Western allies as a whole. Ukraine has its own relations with NATO; there is the Ukraine-NATO Council. At the end of the day the decision is to be made by NATO and Ukraine. It is a matter for those two partners.”
3
@kenmck7802 What agreements do you think they broke little buddy? And why are you randomly capitalizing words?
3
@MankindFails Do you have anything of value to add? Or are you just here to bloviate with your fellow travelers?
3
@YardPrep00 No civilians, some of whom are ex military are not NATO. Just like how there are Chinese mercs fighting for Russia doesn't mean China is in Ukraine.
3
@sergeikhripun Girkin was an FSB colonel and commander of all separatist fighters in the DPR little buddy. Why are you commenting on a topic you clearly have no clue about?
3
@sergeikhripun Russia is already meddling in US elections. Which of course led to the US invading and annexing Russia and claiming they were never a real country. Please try using your brain. Is there a point to your silly whataboutery?
3
@MankindFails Quoting the president of Russia is not biased talking points little buddy. He asked where Russia invaded in 2014, I responded with quotes and evidence.
3
@sergeikhripun You aren't even aware of who Girkin is, maybe educate yourself on a topic before embarrassing yourself further.
3
Russia damaged or destroyed almost 3,800 educational institutions across Ukraine, according to UNICEF. I'll await your figures on Russian schools destroyed by Ukraine.
2
@MankindFails You are here spewing insults with no substance. For what purpose I'm not sure, your daily potato maybe.
2
@sergeikhripun The farcical referendum that people from Russia proper were allowed to vote in? Why don't you go ahead and list all the countries that recognize that sham referendum.
2
@sergeikhripun You also didn't answer the question. Go ahead and list the countries that accept the results of the sham referendum.
2
@sergeikhripun Is there a point to this idiotic whataboutery?
2
Ukraine is defending itself.
1
@inkednpoked So the Soviet Union wasn't defending itself when it invaded Germany? I can tell you are a deep thinker.
1
@wolfshedler5898 2014 is when Russia began it's invasion buddy, nobody would be getting shelled anywhere in Ukraine if they hadn't. Girkin, who was formerly in charge of the DPR rebels said as much. "I'm the one who pulled the trigger of war. If our unit hadn't crossed the border, everything would have fizzled out, like in Kharkiv, like in Odesa."
1
@inkednpoked That's an insane take that literally nobody would agree with but ok.
1
@inkednpoked That makes sense if you lack the ability to think. If someone comes onto your yard every day to hit you and the only way to stop them is to go to their yard to hit them, that isn't' going on the offensive.
1
@inkednpoked The alternative is ww2 lasts forever.
1
@inkednpoked Germany wasn't running away, they were being forced back. The definition of what's happening doesn't magically change at the border.
1
@inkednpoked They went on the offensive sometime in 1942 while still in the SSR, though that, and all actions later are still defensive in nature. By your reasoning through thousands of kilometers they weren't on the offensive, they were defending. Where is the magical point they switch to offensive? Is it at the Polish border? Or were they still defending in Poland? If they were defending in Poland that changes right at the German border does it? 1 cm west and now it's offensive.
1
@inkednpoked It's called going on the offensive as soon as you start attacking little buddy, though if you are in a defensive war any offensive is defensive in nature. Ukraine had an offensive two years ago in Kherson and Kharkiv. Your appeal to chat GPT is hilariously idiotic though.
1
@inkednpoked That's the third time you've said you are done with this conversation little buddy. An offensive is an offensive, it doesn't matter who's territory it is on. What makes it defensive in nature depends on who instigated the war. Which in this case is Russia, so all Ukraine's offensives are defensive in nature, just like how all the SSR's offensives were defensive in nature in WW2. Do you understand?
1
@TaitLawrence-xl2xb A mixture of everything. The children's hospital was hit by a KH-101 guided cruise missile. What difference does it make?
1
@sergeikhripun Here's literally the first result when you look up Potts. "In August, Georgian and Russian-language Facebook accounts spread information about the death of an American general. According to Nona Sharabidze’s post, American Major General Anthony Potts was killed in a Russian missile attack on the NATO headquarters in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, and a Russian-speaking Facebook user writes that Potts died in a Russian missile attack on a bunker in Lviv. The information spread on social media about the death of General Potts in Ukraine is not true. In fact, Major General Anthony Potts died in a plane crash in Maryland on July 25, 2023. It's time to rejoin reality little buddy.
1
@noahheninger I've already addressed this smooth brained talking point.
1
@rickhawkins218 If Putin's sponsors stopped funding them it would also stop.
1
@rickhawkins218 Ditto for Russia's sponsors.
1
@rickhawkins218 Who cares? What does that have to do with anything being discussed here? Brics is an organization with no military, economic or trade agreements. It's not difficult to join a group with no obligations or direction.
1
@sergeikhripun Cool story bro, the Tartars boycotted the sham referendum. Russia holds a sham referendum and then moves thousands of Russians into illegally occupied territory. Sure bud.
1
@TaitLawrence-xl2xb Strelkov himself said there was no fighting in the Donbas until he crossed the border.
1
@TaitLawrence-xl2xb No, there was no fighting at all until Russia crossed the border.
