  4.  @atheopagan  You aren't wrong, however NATO isn't a social club its a military alliance and successive governments ranging from apathetic to outright against the military has left the armed forces rather anemic. Hopefully future governments take national defence more seriously then all the ones since the end of the Cold War have.

  17.  @TieRo69  Pesky NATO keeps making me invade countries. NATO doesn't expand, countries ask to join and the members vote on allowing them in. Gee i wonder why old com bloc countries would want in, could it be Russia's long history of attacking and annexing its neighbors, and then brutal treatment of their citizens.
