@happymelon7129 Wrong, It was the same government after Maidan as it was before. After the election Ukraine elected a new government. What happened was Yanukovich promised to sign the EU association agreement, he backed out after Russia ebargoed Ukraine (a violation of the Budapest memorandum.) This led to protests in Ukraine and eventually Yanukovich fled the country on his own accord. He didn't have to do that though the protests were only to hold elections.

@econ6610 Russia has been rattling the nuclear saber this entire war. What the US did was confront the Soviets directly, they didn't invade and annex Cuba. Try using your brain.

@happymelon7129 Which is a medium sized town a few km from the pre war border. At it's current pace it will take Russia another five years and around two million lost personnel to take the rest of Donetsk. Good luck having a future.

@happymelon7129 So? What's your point? And what do any of those pointless whatboutisms have to do with you being wrong about Ukraine's government being overthrown? The UN voted that Russia "immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw" from Ukraine as it is violating its territorial integrity and sovereignty. The resolution was passed with an overwhelming vote of 143 in favor.
