Not that we shouldn't remain ready, as said in the video it was dumb to attack Ukraine but that didn't stop them. However considering Russia cant even manage to take the Donbas I think Russia attacking NATO is a bit of a stretch.

@anthonywanjala558 yeah around 3% of NATO's annual budget. Mostly in old stock. There are some bottlenecks in 155 production but NATO isn't an artillery first force because this isn't WW1 anymore. NATO wins by overwhelming air power and artillery is just supplementary in NATO doctrine. The US and EU are both increasing ammo production though. Russia has lost half its army and cant even take the Donbas.

@anthonywanjala558 What on earth are you talking about? NATO has sent Ukraine a tiny fraction of what they have, mostly in the form of old stock that was about to be retired anyways. and with it Ukraine has held off the much larger and better equipped Russian army.

@minaolenella869 Yes even though Russia isn't a great threat to NATO right now its clear they don't want to give up on their delusions of empire. If they aren't soundly defeated in Ukraine they'll just be back at it in 10-20 years. And maybe next time they try they won't be completely incompetent.

@prettitalented Thats not the point of the post. If anything we should be giving Ukraine more support because its not like we need the equipment as Russia is incapable of doing harm to NATO but is still a large threat to Ukraine.

@ViceCoin NATO has taken a grand total of 0 casualties whereas Russia has lost half its army trying to take the Donbas, not sure wtf you are talking about.

@TecraX2 Now yeah, early war the Ukrainians pretty much just had Javelins, NLAWS and whatever Soviet scraps they had laying around. The Russians squandered thousands of armored vehicles accomplishing next to nothing.
