@bobgonzales9680 By that logic Ukraine is fighting Belarus, Syria, Iran, North Korea, China, India etc. Wow Ukraine fighting 3/4 of the earths population. More like you dont take chances with national security. It was dumb for Russia to invade Ukraine, but they did it anyways. Finland and Sweden aren't going to gamble on Russia not doing anything dumb in the future. I would support any stable democracy joining NATO anywhere on earth Including Russia, provided they could make the necessary changes to their society and government. because mutual defense assures stability.

@bobgonzales9680 Russia cant even take the Donbas. Ukraine has taken more in the last 7 weeks then Russia has in the previous 10 months.

Russia retreated from Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Izium and Kherson and the excuse they gave was that they were going to focus on the Donbas but they cant even capture that, why not?

@nazistowskisnob543 yeah Russia is so good at destroying leopards they were destroying them months before they even arrived in Ukraine. Even farm equipment counts as Leopards. To date there is evidence of a grand total of 6 destroyed Leopards.

@GotMoxy I'm looking at a map right now and they are clearly past the first line. You can live in denial all you want though. There is also only 3 lines in the west by Tokmak, further east there is only 1 line of defense, not including the zero line.

@enriquelaroche5370 And Russia used to be a Mongol vassal, what's your point? It was Kyiv that founded the state of Russia not the other way around. Kyiv was a developed city and culture while Moscow was a few huts in the swamp.

So far Russia's 3 day SMO has been one of the most humiliating invasions in human history. Well the most humiliating since the 1st Chechen war, and the Russo-Polish war and the Russo-Japanese war.

@WeWazKangz The US has spent a fraction of its military budged. They are doing the same thing they did to the USSR, taking them out without firing a shot. You can try to spin it however you want but this has been a humiliating disaster for Russia. Imagine if the US invaded Mexico, then after a year and a half of WW1 style attrition warfare and 6 digit casualties the US still only controlled 15% of Mexico. How would you rate that invasion?

@mdumisenihlophe4001 It was in the 'mainstream media' last week. You can look at maps with the defensive lines super imposed on them and they are clearly past the first line in some areas. You can believe whatever makes you feel fuzziest inside though.

@WeWazKangz The invasions were over in a few weeks. Then a long occupation. Russia wishes its invasion went 10% as well as the US invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.
