@EELEEM NATO took Afghanistan in a few weeks, there hadn't been an attack on coalition forces in years. The Taliban were all hiding in caves in Pakistan.

@mr.joedirt8583 Give them a bit. Last year their offensives didn't start until August and Ukraine folded Russia up like laundry and that was without western heavy equipment. Considering Russia cant even secure their own borders with the country they are at war with a repeat wouldn't surprise me. Typically when you invade a country you dont want to get dragged into trench warfare that never ends a few miles across the border. This war has been a disaster and complete humiliation for Russia no matter how you try to spin it.

@shadowshifter7 Actually there is an insurgency in Ukraine Partisan's have put in a lot of work in areas behind the lines. it just gets overshadowed by the fact that Russia can't even take the Donbas.
