@johnnysgaminglab2126 The pipeline wasn't running and since sanctions never would. As per contract Russia was on the hook for the dollar value of nat gas that would otherwise flow through it.

@PerfectShrubbery Nordstream 2 was never operational. The pipeline has to be filled with methane gas in order to pressurize the line so it didn't collapse due to water pressure. No natural gas was ever transferred through it. None of this is top secret. Are you simple or something?
