@StillAliveAndKicking_ Exactly. Lets compare Civilian casualties in Afghanistan just for fun. Civilian casualties caused by the US: 46,319 civilians, Though only an estimated 1,010-1,297 Afghan civilians were directly killed by U.S./NATO actions. In 20 years Civilian casualties caused by Russia: Around 2 million in 10 years. The US isn't perfect but they at least try to avoid civilian casualties, though they sometimes fail. Russia will engage in reprisal killings and directly target civilians.

@thalentekhuluse2829 You should apply that logic to Russia.

@thalentekhuluse2829 What about them? Oh and its more like 405,000–627,000. Thats North and South Vietnamese, many of whom were killed by the Viet Kong. What about the 50 million or so of its own citizens the Soviets killed? Did you forget about them? Moreover who tf is defending the Vietnam war? Seriously find me one person. I'm also not American so say whatever you want you aren't going to hurt my feelings.

@RollerGuideX WW2 was WW2 everyone was bombing everything, I'm not saying it was right but that's the way things were. Japan and Germany crossed that threshold first. Bringing up something that happened 80 years ago is strange. Also do you think if Russia had the bomb they wouldn't have used it back then? As for Cuba if the US decided to invade and annex them I'd agree with you, all they did was confront the Soviets though, which they were well within their right to do imo. you can refer to my post higher up to see casualty numbers for Afghanistan (around 40k in 20 years for the US most not caused by direct action by the US and around 2 million for Russia in half that time). The Russians are the in another league when it comes to brutality. NATO expansion, gee I wonder why ex com bloc countries would want to join NATO. Likely experience being occupied by the Russians, along with Russia's pesky habit of invading and annexing its neighbors. Luckily for Russia they have the bomb so they are literally uninvadable, of course they know that the whole NATO thing is just a red herring. Putin has delusions of empire and wants to put the USSR back together. And I'm sorry but Fck that.
