  10.  Yuri  Haven't we been through this? That was all before Russia got involved or from the initial shock of the invasion. Since lines have stabilized Russia has lost much more then its gained. Now they dust off T54's and Scooby Doo vans and pretend like it's not a complete humiliation.

  12.  @Semtex_1992  You were the one saying that Russia would 'reduce Ukraine to rubble' if they lost, remember? How would they manage that without nukes commander smoothbrain? Or do you think they have enough rigged up S300's and Iran charity drones to take out every apartment building in Ukraine. Russia retreats from Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv. Can't even take the Donbas in over a year despite it being a few hours by car from Moscow. And are now unironically using T54's and Scooby Doo vans. I'd say they are the ones struggling. America thankfully gave up on the inane political goal of turning Afghanistan into New Kansas or something. There hadn't been an attack on coalition forces in years, the Taliban were all in their hidey holes in the other Stans.

  13.  @ИванМартыненко-и3б  Ukraine has the support of the richest countries on Earth. Russia is begging for scraps from North Korea and Iran, unironically using T54's and Scooby Doo vans. It took the US just over 500 hours to take out Iraq, imagine if 14+ months in they were bogged down a few miles in started digging trenches, resurrected the M26 Pershing from the scrap yard and were like "slow does not mean inefficient." And Iraq is on the other side of the world, Ukraine is a couple hours drive from Moscow. This war has been a disaster and a complete humiliation for Russia no matter how you try to spin it.

Civilian casualties for Afghan wars: Russia: 850,000 and 1.5 million in 10 years US: 46,319 civilians in 20 years A vast majority of the US ones weren't caused by the military around 1,010-1,297 Afghan civilians were directly killed by directly by U.S./NATO actions. There was also this thing called 9/11 not sure if you remember, the US demanded the Taliban hand over Bin Laden, they refused so they invaded not unreasonable imo. Yeah war is always dreadful for the civilians on the ground but what were they supposed to do wave their finger at them and scold them for knocking their buildings down and killing thousands of people. The Soviets went in to prop up their puppet dictator. And the US tried their best to avoid civilian casualties whereas the Russians were famous for things like reprisal killings and deliberately targeting civilians. The Afghans were terrified of us until they realized we weren't Russians.

  15. Putin will end up in a Siberian basement like Brezhnev if he tries. Russia loses wars on a fairly regular basis they lost in Afghanistan and Chechnya and didn't nuke anyone. Also NATO has stated they will destroy Russia's army in Ukraine and sink the Black Sea fleet if they do. And technically China has a treaty to protect Ukraine from nuclear aggression, whether they honor the treaty or not is debatable, but they don't want to look like idiots and I'm sure Xi has warned Putin against using them.
