@arcadiathrall6080 Successful on the Bakhmut front? Congratulations on taking a mid sized town a few miles over the border of dubious strategic value in just under a year with only 100k casualties. The original reason Russia wanted Bakhmut so bad was it was supposed to be the southern pincer in their grand Donbas surround. The northern pincer was to come from Izium, which of course Russia lost along with an absolute mountain of material. (it was the main logistics hub in the area) Russia should have gave up on Bakhmut but sunk cost fallacy/desperation to show show any sort of win led them to repeated and ill advised assaults on one of the most heavily fortified locations on the front. Resulting in massive unnecessary casualties.

@arcadiathrall6080 If you want to see an offensive that didn't achieve anything you can refer to Russia's offensive at Vulhedar, where they drove into the same minefield over and over for no progress.

@arcadiathrall6080 lmao yeah all Putin had to do was bend the knee to his caterer and humiliate himself. He also sent the message that Russia will negotiate with terrorists, we'll so how that turns out for him.
