Russia is making marginal gains in one or two locations capitalizing on lack of supplies. that window is closing though.

Yes Russia has destroyed the entire Ukrainian army but for some reason can't even take the Donbas, I have a bridge you might be interested in. Russia has multiple failed offensives this war, including the current one. During Ukraine's 'failed' offensive they took 297.7 square km. To put this in perspective in the past six months Russia has taken roughly 260 square km.

Because it said these guys were volunteers who aren't part of the Ukrainian army because they were too old so they use whatever salvaged parts they can get. Now that elections are over even Russia is finally downgrading their economic prospects. This was of course already obvious to anyone with a brain. Hydrocarbon revenue is down over 60% since the start of the war, and all the revenue they are getting is in the form of Rupees and Yuan, which Russia does not want. This is before Ukraine started taking out Russian refineries. The Ruble is in the gutter and the only reason it doesn't fall of the chart completely is strict monetary controls. Inflation is higher than anywhere in the west, it would be higher but Russia has set interest rates to a punishing 16%. But sure sanctions have done 'zilch', keep telling yourself that bud.

@AaSs-ln9mm Avdiivka is a mid sized town right on the border. According to Russian mil blogger Murz Russia took a minimum of 16k kia in the last four months of trying to take it. This is more losses than 10 years in Afghanistan.
