@livingtribunal4110 Gazprom posted its first loss in twenty years, the Ruble is worthless and only kept on the chart due to strict monetary controls, inflation is much higher than any western country and only kept in check because of punishing interest rates. Collapsing auto industry, collapsing airlines. Even the Russian central bank couldn't make believe any longer and had to revise its economic outlook to negative. Utilities failing all last winter, dams failing in the spring. One attempted coup already this war, endless idle nuclear threats. etc etc.

@Alexus095 The only settlements larger than a village that were taken after lines were established were Bakhmut and Avdiivka. Losses in Bakhmut were so bad for Russia it caused Wagner to rebel. And according to Russian sources Russia lost more men in Avdiivka than they did in ten years in Afghanistan. The fact that you are acting like this is some grand victory makes it apparent what a disaster the invasion has been.

@Alexus095 In two years the Germans had taken all of Europe and still lost, Russia managed to advance a few miles across the border and are using Chinese golf carts for frontal assaults in broad daylight. Truly an unstoppable juggernaut.

@Alexus095 Ukraine hadn't even finished mobilizing by then. Lines were established some time after Severodonesk was taken, after which nobody has taken much of anything. Russian mil blogger Murz claimed Russia lost a minimum 16k kia in Avdiivka, other Russian sources have it up over 20k, all for a mid sized town a few miles across the border. The "city" of Marinka has a pre war population of ten thousand. Soledar was about the same, the fact that you are celebrating every village captured speaks volumes about the state of the invasion. In two years Germany had taken Europe and still lost, Russia has hardly advanced a few miles across the border. Russia still can't even take the Donbas bud, its time to face reality.

Well except when Russia lost 50% of the territory they occupied, guess you forgot about that. To put Russia's past six months in perspective they've captured roughly 260 square km. during Ukraine's "failed" offensive they took 297.7 square km. Russia can't even take the Donbas bud, its time to face reality.

@Alexus095 Izium was the main supply hub in the region, Ukraine captured an absolute mountain of material there. Russia didn't just retreat they were folded up like laundry.

@Alexus095 What happened was Ukraine kept saying they were going to attack Kherson, and Russia believed them for some reason. You know, like morons. So they redeployed the VDV from Kharkiv to Kherson to defend it and the Ukrainians attacked Kharkiv and folded Russia up like lawn chairs. Then they blew up the bridges behind the Russians at Kherson and forced them to flee from there too. Try not to cry ok.

@Alexus095 What happened was Ukraine insisted they were going to take Kherson, and Russia foolishly took them at face value. So they redeployed the VDV from Kharkiv to Kherson and Ukraine Rolled the Russian's up at Kharkiv like a carpet. Capturing tons of ammunition and material in the process. Then they took out the bridges at Kherson and Russia was forced to flee from there too. Dry your eyes.
