  1.  @andrewdopple6946  Russia's actions has driven traditionaly neutral Finland into NATO placing military assets right on Russia's border and even closer to Moscow. Less than 10% of Ukrainians wanted to join NATO prior to Russia's invasion, multiple NATO countries were opposed to it. the chances of Ukraine joining NATO was effectively zero. Russia invaded in spite of Ukrainian neutrality. If Ukraine was in NATO there never would have been a war.

Want to know what other country was colonized? Literally every country on earth. Dry your eyes. Africa has problems, nepotism, tribalism, corruption, geography.   9.  @GBU39JDAM  The war started because Ukraine discovered gas deposits threatening Russia's energy monopoly in Europe. Of course this has backfired and Russian hydrocarbon revenue is down around 70% since the start of the war.
