You have always been free to date who you like, go on holiday where you like without a hundred reporters following you, you can go get drunk and paint the town red anytime, you can speak openly about your beliefs, your loves, any world events or wars. (Muslims have been in Britain for centuries, they didn't all just arrive last Thursday wearing Burkas and suicide belts.   11. Americans shouldn't worry about calling it "soccer". I live in a small town in the extreme North West of England. For generations in this town, the sport has been called "football" but people have always used "soccer" too as a kind of slang-term.

  47. The USA dominates Olympic medals because of the population-size of your country, not skill. Medals won since 1896: USA 2,920 medals UK 879 medals. But America's population is five-times bigger than the UK. Multiply 879 by five and you'll see that the UK easily out-performs the USA per capita. So does France, Germany, Italy and Russia.
