  1. I completely disagree, I personally think it was pure, shock-value "entertainment" to drag in viewers who wanted to see and hear unfathomable things. Victorian Freak shows never went away.

  10. Because the sentencing is very wise when you put some thought behind it. Think logically. If this man had gotten life for this, then the next guy doing the same thing will think "Ok. If I'm going to get life then I may as well finish my repugnant behaviour by ending her life and hope she never gets found when I dispose of her, too." Think, in future.

And I abandoned Christianity when I discovered the Bible stole the story of Adam and Eve from an ancient Mesopotamian poem written hundreds of years earlier. As Einstein said, the book is really just "primitive legend."
