nakedBison69 The year is 2020 and we still have grown adults believing there's an invisible superhero running the show. Einstein was right. The Bible is "pretty childish."
7
nakedBison69 Einstein never said that though. Just like your god, you imagined it.
7
nakedBison69 And you conform to the authority of your invisible superhero.
5
nakedBison69 Here's a shock for you. The vast majority of people on planet Earth don't live in the U.S.
5
nakedBison69 LOL - Go play with your invisible superhero,. You religious people are hilarious. Grow up for goodness sake, even children give up with invisible friends when they hit puberty.
5
Forewarned is four armed.
4
nakedBison69 3,000 gods throughout history. And in 2020, all 3000 of them are invisible. Ask a grown-up to tell you why.
4
@Mark Firepaine Immaturity? Remind me - which of us believes that snakes can talk ? Which of us believes that men can walk on water? Which of us believes that virgins give birth? Let's try and be sensible here.
4
I wonder if religion is getting pasta joke.
3
nakedBison69 Look how you childishly reply. There's no maturity or debate. It's like typing to a kid who says "yeah well so are you". Grow up woman.
3
@Mark Firepaine The next time you call someone "immature", Mark. Remind yourself you're an adult with an invisible friend.
3
@Mark Firepaine The story of Adam and Eve was stolen from a text written hundreds of years earlier. The original characters names were Enkidu and Shamhat in "Epic of Gilgamesh". In the Epic, Enkidu is created from the soil by a god and lives in a garden amongst the animals. He is introduced to a woman who tempts him. He accepts food from the woman, is ordered to cover his nakedness and is then banished from his former realm, unable to return. That story was written hundreds of years before the Bible. I'm afraid your book simply stole the story - and other stories in the Epic - and renamed the characters. For a book that so strongly condemns stealing, it did quite a lot itself.
3
@Mark Firepaine It certainly isn't PROOF of god, either. And you started the belittling, remember, so don't complain when it comes back in your direction. Look, if you believe there's a purple unicorn in your garden, good luck to you with it. Just either show everyone the proof and evidence you have for its existence, or stop claiming its there.
3
@Mark Firepaine lol ok, let's play by those rules. Prove to me Thor doesn't exist. They're your rules so don't dodge it. Prove to me Thor doesn't exist. Go.
3
@davidbanner6230 Who on Earth told you "Atheists are never involved in charitable organisations"? That is a ludicrous assertion. You religious people always make incredible claims without showing an iota of scientific data to prove your claims are true.
3
@Mark Firepaine "The idea of a God like Zeus who covers a small spectrum of the universe is unlikely." - and a man walking on water with an invisible superhero Father isn't? What evidence do you have that your god even exists besides "you read it in a book"? (You'll dodge that question, all religious people do.)

tate rosemary If you're going to type "Good. So what?" at least tell me which of my 87 comments you're typing it toward.
2
tate rosemary LOL. Of course the USA isn't the most religious country in the world, it's the 56th most religious country in the world. And the USA doesn't even make the top 10 most-free countries, it's 12th.

@lxmzhg When you look back at that comment, 2 years later, do you think maybe you did yourself an injustice? That really was an unnecessary low-blow.
1
@Mark Firepaine You just did exactly that to me, you hypocrite.
1
@Mark Firepaine I guess you missed the part of Richard's speech at 29:06 but I highly recommend it.
1
@Mark Firepaine lol with no respect whatsoever, you're damn right it's irrational to believe that snakes talk, that men walk on water, that Gautama stood up and declared himself "Chief of the world" the moment he was born and you're damn right that atheists are tired of giving you nutjobs any respect whatsoever for believing such childish nonsense. Those days are gone my friend, now you're going to get all the mockery you deserve. And you deserve plenty of it.
1
@Mark Firepaine Of course it's irrational, man. If someone walked up to you today in a pub and said "I've just had a conversation with a serpent and saw a guy walking on a lake" you wouldn't say "Wow, I'll place my entire life's belief system in such happenings" you'd say "Go home, you're drunk." Stop considering ludicrously childish beliefs just because they've got the word "religion" attached to them.
1
@Mark Firepaine Actually, I'm a highly educated programmer and - for a person considering religion - you seem to be far outweighing me in the "being rude and disrespectful" category.
1
@Mark Firepaine You've been ruder than anybody so stop with the hypocrisy and dry your eyes, woman.
1
@Mark Firepaine Read your own comments. Your hypocrisy is astounding.
1
@Mark Firepaine It's pretty easy to direct assertions of immaturity, too. Which you did before anyone, so stop with the hypocrisy. Look, if you want to believe in god, good luck to you. That's nobody's business but yours. Enjoy the video.
1
nakedBison69 nakedBison, you seriously - seriously - thought Adolf Hitler was "left-wing". Trust me, that negates any political statement you make for the rest of your life.
1
@blupandax7902 lmao. So your evidence for "atheists don't donate money" is you hang around with drug addicts. Thanks. Now I understand why you believe in talking donkeys in the Bible.
