But that means you're agreeing with me, since Spinoza's god is, in his own words “the sum of the natural and physical laws of the universe and certainly not an individual entity or creator”. You're defeating yourself.

(Science) Men don't really walk on water, they're observed from a perspective which makes it LOOK like they're walking on water. Trees don't really talk, Zeus didn't really give birth to his offspring from his forehead, Mohammed didn't really walk without casting a shadow. There's a good reason every single one of the gods of history is invisible and an even better reason why no new gods have come along in a very long time. If you want to believe in religion, you go right ahead, but for me, it's silly, childish nonsense created by people with far more imagination than intelligence.

Einstein didn't believe in god as a creator no matter how many times you convince yourself he did, he believed in Spinoza's version of god, which as I've already stated, was "the sum of the natural and physical laws of the universe and certainly not an individual entity or creator". And his statement "god does not play dice with the universe" was never what you think it was; Einstein even cleared up any confusion when he later wrote, in 1954, "I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." And for someone who claims they're not religious, you seem determined to attribute the universe to god and even more determined to convince yourself that Einstein's beliefs somehow matched yours, when in fact, they directly oppose your beliefs.

This stuff is for children, not grown adults. The Bible stole many of its stories from a work written hundreds of years earlier - (a naked couple in a garden outcast for eating forbidden food, Noah and the flood, a tempting serpent, people being born from a rib). Research it yourself, the work is called "Epic of Gilgamesh" - the Bible literally copied many of the events in that work and just reworded them. There's a good reason your god, like all gods, is invisible. See if you can figure out why he is.

His reference to "god" was not the personal god that any religious people worship but the god that was the order of the universe via the rules of science. Don't try and reword his work into "He mentioned the word god, therefore he believed in Jesus/Thor/Buddha or any of the major religions." He most certainly and unequivocally did not.
