@johnd8538 Who are the "zealot" and the "communist", lol. That sounds almost Pythonesque in its description.

Imagine if you had an allergy to pomposity, you'd be on your back before Muggeridge reached the end of a sentence.

And the Bishop and Muggeridge were defending a religion with a talking donkey in it.

I'm convinced Muggeridge thought the Pythons were mocking Jesus but they were simply saying "What if people followed the wrong Messiah?" and making fun of that. And there was literally a Messiah fever in the area at Jesus' time, many many were claiming to be the Messiah, not just Jesus, so there were plenty to choose from.

@whatamalike If any new viewers have an allergy to pomposity, you should skip the parts where the Bishop and Malcolm Muggeridge speak.

I don't get the relevance of his sexuality, it just seems to be a trivial matter that the Bishop and Muggeridge themselves would be proud to bring up.

I would find it impossible to agree with Muggeridge and the Bishop on anything simply because they ooze pomposity.

@martinsanchez4827 lol wouldn't it be something to watch Life of Brian alongside Jesus and ask him "What do you think of that?"
