  1. It's ludicrous how the whole system works. When a police officer breaks the law, it's the police who "review it". The officer isn't "arrested for criminal assault pending charges", he's "placed on leave". I guarantee that the police will simply wait until this matter is no longer in the public news, reinstate the officer and the matter will be forgotten. There has to be an entire overhaul of how justice is administered AGAINST police officers who break the law.

  14. It isn't just the US. Go see "Sergeant Mark Andrews" treatment of an old woman in the U.K. The British police force hold an inquiry, find him guilty, sack him...........and then reinstate him back in his old job at the same station with full pay.
