@fearme6780 It's bewildering how the USA believes it was heroic in both world wars, when in reality, you were the biggest cowards of both of them. You didn't even pick up a rifle for two and a quarter years. Canadians were fighting in two days.
4
Question: How do you get Americans to talk about themselves? Answer: Just wait a few seconds, they'll soon start.
4
@lisawatkins8801 lol right. You mean like in world wars when you say "It's not our war" for over two and a quarter years? Canadians, Australians and Kiwis didn't say that, they picked up their guns and fought.
4
If you want to really surprise an American, ask them "Which is the most-free country in the world?" and wait for them to say "The USA". Then you can inform them that the United States doesn't even make the top ten, it's 12th Britain is 8th.
3
@fearme6780 LOL here's a joke the real allies told about your country. "How do you get Americans to join a World War?" Tell them it's nearly finished.
3
@paulwild3676 I'm living in the real U.K. not the Facebook version you're whining about. (London's public transport is the most expensive in the world, it's far cheaper everywhere else)
3
@Hockey7234 I hope to god you're not an American typing that, what country are you from?
3
@Hockey7234 Tick tock tick tock LOL
3
@Hockey7234 Hahaha I knew you wouldn't answer. By the way, if you're American - and you are - the UK is more free than the U.S. The USA is the fifteenth most-free country in the world. It's 2023, not 1823. Enjoy YouTube, bye.
3
@Hockey7234 Oh one last thing. Next time you're pretending not to be American, remember not to spell "recognize" with a "z" lol 🤣Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
3
@JaysonT1 Ask 100 Americans "Which is the most-free country in the world?" and at least 95 will answer "The U.S." The U.S. doesn't even make the top twenty most-free countries in 2021.
2
Huh? It's not THAT expensive in the U.K. what are you referring to?
2
@paulwild3676 In ten seconds, I went to TheTrainLine and found a return train, London to Manchester, weeks in advance, for £30 (£38 first class). "Nearly £100 my arse" lol.
2
Of course it's not "free" in that sense, what they mean is "At the time you need treatment, you won't be charged for it." Surely that wasn't too difficult to work out.
2
I didn't realise Aussies had it, too. Isn't it the best thing about any society? Imagine being sick in the USA and thinking "Is this treatment what I need... or are they treating me badly so I have to get more treatment and they make more money"!
2
@Hockey7234 I know, it's hilarious lmao. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
2
@Hockey7234 Shall I rumble you some more, Andrew?
2
@lisawatkins8801 Canada being part of the Commonwealth is irrelevant, they had every national right to say "It's not our war" and refuse to fight. Some countries are just braver than others, I guess.
2
@calaragazza3556 I would imaginei that was self-explanatory but the point is, we're paying like 2p a month, which over a lifetime covers us for everything. Americans pay if and when it happens but look at what you do pay WHEN it happens.
1
I can't understand why Americans have never demanded their own version of the N.H.S. Haven't any of your political parties promoted it as an option for Americans to vote for? I'd imagine it would be a landslide if they did.
1
@StochasticUniverse In the 16 Opinium polls of "What is the most-loved aspect of British society?" the NHS positioned first in 15 of them.
1
@paulwild3676 If you'd said it's very dear in London, I'd agree but it isn't that expensive everywhere else in the U.K.
1
@morg2040 Then get a part-time job and make paying it easier. You people whine because others aren't paying your bills for you. Get off your arses and pay for it yourselves.
1
@Hockey7234 God save the King, oh wait, he's not dead. 🤣😅😆
1
@_xplora_9374 You creepy, creepy crawler.
1
@lisawatkins8801 Then stop talking about yourselves so much. You make every terrible stereotype of your country come true. And please, try and remember, the United States of America was one of the biggest cowards of WW2, not the heroes your movies always fake.
