  1. It’s no different than a battered spouse syndrome. The people have been beaten down for a century 20 million killed in WW2, tens of millions killed by Stalin , only way to get ahead is to be completely corrupt and ruthless. Not to mention completely brained washed by the Goverment media since the revolution in the 20s. Vast majority of citizens just want to keep their heads down and survive another day
