  1. The Santa Anna winds and the fires associated it’s these winds occur in California every year, I have watched them on the national news since the early 70s. Over the last 50 years tens of millions moved to California and specifically in these areas, building out LA into a massive city and surrounding suburbs, add to that. Decades of terrible democratic policies including water and land management or lack there of to appease environmentalists has led to this. Most of the fires are Caused by downed power lines, arson, the homeless and people being careless with camping fires and fireworks. So essentially all started by man, not started by lightning/ environment
