  1. Sorry. But Americans are idiots, we see a car as a status symbol and not what it actually is, a depreciating asset that suits a need. Transportation. I’m retired and can easily afford a top end new 2025 Lamborghini, I drive a 10 year old Lexus SUV that I paid in full new in 2015 because I needed an SUV for my and my and my wife’s hobbies to carry bike rack and a lot of gear. The car will easily last me another 5 years . there is a reason Americans are drowning in dept and it’s their own fault
