I recently retired as a PCP practicing 30 years in the city with the 3rd largest gay population in the country and had a very large gay population in my practice and truly enjoyed all of them, brought a a lot of humor to my practice. I never had a transgender patient until the last year after COVID 2 teenage girls that were converting to boys. They were obviously gay, and convinced by only social media over Covid that they must be trans. The worst part was their parents that seemed to be proud that they were trans, and it made me wonder if they were subconsciously ashamed they were gay
