It’s crazy about how many people get their financial advice and economic information from U tube and social media. Loss of white collar federal workers is NOT a loss. Most of them will find work in the private sector , they will just have to work as hard as the rest of us

In 1988 as a medical intern 1 worked 80-100 hours a week and made 22 grand and lived on it Medical residency 26k second year, then 28 k third year working insane hours, lived in cheap apt with roommates to save money. As a physician started at 100 k, lived in a 2 bedroom with a roommate, and over the next 3 years paid off my loans, maxed my 401k and drove a Camry. Year 4 moved into a single bedroom apt for another 2 years to save as much as possible so I could buy a house. Bought the house and had 2 roommates to pay into the principal. Young people today are simply not willing to do what it takes and sacrifice . To them 40 hours a week is too tough

The absolute last thing liberal teachers want taught in Public schools and liberal universities is critical thinking

In general Americans are financially illiterate and far overspend and live above their actual means, and just rack up debt at high interest rates

The problem is the majority of students coming out of college the last decade have absolutely useless degrees, have never had jobs prior to or in college so they have no experience, and no idea how to present themselves during a job interview. also if you want to work in a professional office The tattoo must be in a location that is covered by clothing. and NO nose rings or blue hair it’s just common sense

I’m 60; retired at 57. I don’t have any friend from college or after college that ever moved back in with or took money from their parents. I have completely lost respect for these 2 younger generations, that’s just embarrassing

Sorry, but back in my day, 40 years ago, we all borrowed money to go to college and we all paid it back. This is a generational difference. Prior generations understood we are signing a contract, borrowing money and understood it was our obligation to repay the dept. after graduation I started my career, lived in a small very cheap one bedroom and ate Roman noodles for 3 years so I could pay it back. all my friends did the exact same thing. Both my sisters moved home for a couple of years, worked and payed off their college loan dept.

All these idiots should have gone to trade school, thousands of blue collar jobs available

Americans are financially illiterate. cars are iPad incredibly fast depreciating asset, so your loosing on both ends, high interest rate, that depreciates 10% in value the day you drive it off the lot. Then Americans change them out every 3 years on average and roll the negative equity into the next one

Hmmm how many American citizens migrated out to change citizenship to live in another country I know Elon and Rosie but not to many others

That’s the reason Joe Bunsen let in 10 million more illegal immigrants, people that are willing to work For a lot less than 25 an our 😂

Unless you have done the grind for at least 30 years. Don’t complain

We should be encouraging men to go to trade schools. Welding, plumbing, electricians Construction, AC repair. AI is going to replace white collar work first
