I’m absolutely shocked at how many people quit their jobs in a bad economy without having any significant savings and just think they will get a new job in a few weeks And I’m talking about people I know making 75 to 100 k a year. Our last friend was laid off with 3 months of severance and health benefits, she new for a year the company division was being shut down and moved, she made no effort during that period to even look. It took her 9 months to find a job at a 5% lower salary
