As a recently retired physician, no one under 18 should be undergoing hormonal or surgical transition. 85 - 90 of these children are on the spectrum and or are gay but simply have not become emotionally and intellectually secure with being gay and grow out of this ideation. Our frontal lobes don’t reach emotional maturity prior to our early to mid twenties
