Wera is the only one of these available locally in our village and i liked them the moment i saw them.

it would be amazing to weigh the sharpness loss by the absolute value (i can't suggest a metric from the top of my head, but it feels like we need an integral of the sharpness over time)

@jesheezy i am OK with the 3-point test, i am just saying that there is more info in 3 points than "sharpness loss", for different starting points some given sharpness loss means different "life experience". imagine the full sharpness curve that we did not measure. a knife over its life experiences degradation. we can integrate above the point of certain desired sharpness threshold as thus say how much sharpness*hours this knife delivered. assuming the degradation curve depends more on the knife than a sharpener (it is fundamentally curved by the material and parametrized by sharpening success) we can APPROXIMATE from the measured 3 points the integral amount of sharpness delivered in the range of acceptable sharpness.

removable batteries is an advantage. YUGE advanatage.

my Wera screwdrivers have metal hammer butts, single piece with the shaft :) also good for hammering something.

your test rigs are amazing!

you see! Wera are good quality, they just made A MISTAKE with this "innovative" "new" shape.

your methodology never disappoints it would be an improvement, though, to present a graph of the multiple: torq by driving time.

i better pay for KAI rather than for the inflation.

@ProjectFarm for example, if a knife of some given steel gets dull exponentially (some very small negative exponent) or hyperbolicly, the measured 2 points give you a singular POSITION on the sharpness curve, from this position you can say HOW LONG this knife will stay above the desired sharpness threshold.

@B__Mer it is so sad that you can not comprehend written lang.

great! Irwin is available in our backwaters.

the best handle shape is Wera, it is just better to have extra diameter instead of all rubber pins combined.
1
@tchevrier i meant the same Wera as in this video, any similar type of the handle

tank you so much! (my exp with Gedore is a little disappointing, i made a dent in a 32mm wrench, insignificant but VERY UNEXPECTED)
1
i never buy "sets"
