  8.  @andrzej2501  it is a mistake to consider these entities to be unit actors or interest groups. the real interest groups do not coincide with nation states. roughly speaking each of these signatories consists of mutually exclusive interests represented by (in best case) political parties, some of which bet on the annihialion of Ukraine, some bet on perpetual war, some bet on restoration of pre-war status. by manuvering between them we manage to squeeze these tiny drops of help for our defence.

  14.  @andrzej2501  ah! you don't know how much of these nukes were classical soviet paper reports. when russians sent the "sputnik" it was their ONLY rocket, capable of nuke delivery and it was fueled with LOX which defeats the purpose of quick deployment reuired by the strategic command. TLDR: russians had no delivery means until mid 60s
