@Seff2 washing removes the sand that was not removed by manual separation of stones. in USSR we experienced stones in rice like absolute norm.

@luigig6256 too little to be significant, seems like a very dirty process and economizing on proper seiving.

@gaypanda5368 if you prefer YOUR meals with bonechips, please dont wash the meat, nobody here teaches others how to prefer their meals, EXCEPT YOU.

i like the looks of Misen, and i am convinced i should try their knives, but i discovered frying in REALLY DEEP pots instead of skillets, the amount of droplets covering the cooking area reduced by orders of magnitude.

WASH EVERYTHING! then scratch with a knife to remove thin outer layer of the skin and also to better see remaining feathers that you missed. if cooking pork, then simply remove the skin, all of it, completely, and then WASH, because the smell of the skin contaminates meat while you are handling it. carefully palpate every inch of your meat! until you are absolutely sure there are no more BONE PARTICLES stick on the connecting tissue.

it is NOT rice, the topic is not rice.

@webaccess11 could be anti-caking agent, just WASH IT, it also removes iodine, if you have any adverse reactions to seafood, you MUST remove iodine from your table salt.

1
@spqrd13 , i am still failing to find Kosher Salt here :( despite almost everything being covertly and overtly kosher! thinking about the chemical purity of the dishwasher salt...
1
avoiding washing your food to keep your kitchen CLEANER than the food itself, seems weak at best.
1
@ryanshenfield5688 i wish it was mere chlorine!!! supermarkets are soaked in pesticides of all sorts thru & thru! to the point of skin allergic reactions on mere touching their trolleys or shelves
1
@D-Vinko i can claim whatever i will. imagine that!
1
@gaypanda5368 bonechips are not anecdotal, they are scientific.
1
@gaypanda5368 ok, so you comment misses the point of washing ENTIRELY, and still issues a "recommendation" on the subject -- MAGNIFICENT!
1
@rashmisingh9244 i took the advice of washing meat in a bowl (as opposed to running water) very seriously, it is better in every sense.
1

this shit grows like ragweed, WE MUST EAT IT before it is too late!
1
i think ferromagnetism DOES play an important role, it CLOSES the magnetic loop in which the current is induced, thus increasing the inductivity of the excitation coil and reducing the energy dissipation (all goes into the pan)
1
@amaizeing.dumbass5123 yes, they worship him like a hero. complete cretins.
1
professors in masks?!?! what a joke!
1
people used thermally cooked flax oil to make paints :) before we invented pentaphthalate
1
@mischief2688 and ONLY IF, ONLY IF! you risk exposure to radioactive IODINE! it does not help against other radioactive agents
1
not washing a perfectly washable thing makes no sense, less than no!
1
so..... basically they cover their pans with LINOLEUM :)
