  3.  @Hrudaya07  A journalist doing their job takes the side of truth, and the side of their audience (these occasionally conflict Slightly, but not in ways a sensible person cannot resolve correctly.) When they give equal weight to blatant propaganda and falsehoods from sources with vested interests and present it as being just as legitimate as well researched and provable fact, they are nit being impartial, they are being active partisans for the side(s) that are Lying. When they do so to the detriment of their audience they are failing twice over. The difference between a journalist doing their job correctly and a spy is entirely a matter of whose interests they are acting in. (On a related note: freedom of the press has nothing to do with a journalist or reporter's "right" to access information. They have no more rights and privileges than anyone else on that front. Freedom of the press refers to the right to Publish. Litteraly means that use of the Printing Press is not restricted by the government etc. (In Europe, at various times and places had done all sorts of things to restrict the use of the printing press, and punish people whose works they did not like. The idea was to avoid that.))

  5.  @BK-uy9nj  well, if by "PC" you mean macbooks and iPhones, I guess. He's also fairly involved with certain areas of politics, too (right to repair involves farming, as well as phone repair, and other things). And, of course, runs a business. He's fairly significant on youtube, probably more for what he has to say about New York (particularly real estate), running a business, and just stuff he's learned over the course of his life as for the board repair stuff he created the channel for. He's been on TV before too.

  9. ... strangely enough, so are the Republicans. And said "big tech" includes John Deer (sp)... You know, the guys who make tractors and such. And noticeably does Not include many of the usual "big tech" suspects. Likewise, the small number of politicians who actually Get It come from both parties as well. It seems to come down more to what state you're in (and how deep the relevant corporations have their hooks in in that state) rather than which party is currently running said state. Something Louis himself brings up fairly frequently.
