  1. There's no agreed upon standard of what is and isn't actually a city. The USA calls some things separate cities that where I live would be considered suburbs, but those American cities can also includes rural areas that here we wouldn't usually consider part of the city at all. Just as an example.

  2.  @yashagrawal88  You have to be doing something REALLY WRONG for metros to be less eco-friendly than road vehicles... 'cept bikes. Simple economies of scale tend to make them massively more energy efficient and less polluting per person-kilometre travelled, even if they're not electrified. It gets even better if they are.

Eh, getting someone who actually knows what they're talking about to explain things to you properly, rather than just reading up on a bunch of stuff with whatever random ideas you might have started with as a basis, is probably better... Though yeah, it shouldn't be 'get X to design it for you' so much as 'learn from X, Y, and Z, then design for yourself' (and that's learn what NOT to do, as much as what to do.)
