  1. ​ @chroma._.5986  In pretty much every meaningful respect it's an empire with a lot of red paint. Mind you, the USA is very much an empire as well, claiming otherwise is a matter of ideology, not fact. It's not hard to make the case that India counts too. Mind you, they're not Monarchies, that's a seperate matter.
