... the only common denominator between 'woke' things in practice is 'far right radicals are losing their mind over something, declare everyone who might possibly disagree with them to be woke, regardless of if they're flipping out over something that is actually problematic radical progressive nonsense that deserves some push back, or a completely delusional figment of their immagination (and both absolutely happen, though the latter seems more common)'. This is entirely independent of the fact that Vanguard Group, Blackrock and... I guess state street? (never heard of that one before that I recall) seem to be involved in a lot of large businesses which are engaged in very poor behaviour. Though the actual Problems with that behaviour have little or nothing to do with the progressive left at all, nevermind the malcious radical part of it, save as a layer of smoke and camoflauge to discourage criticism while they act in ways that primarily benefit the upper ranks of the shareholder class, if they benefit anyone at all. ... For reference, you might well be familiar with the names of some of that class. A lot of them seem to be at the forfront of American Republican and adjacent movements...

Go woke go broke. The problem with that is that it implies that one causes the other, where as all indications are that the connection is more that the 'woke' part is just the latest coat of paint on one or more not at all new type(s) of bad logic and stupid decisions that have been driving businesses and products to failure for at least decades, and probably centuries.
