@asmodiusjones9563 Mind you, year round indoor kitchens predate AC by... a lot... Though usually in colder climates where days hot enough for that to be a problem if your kitchen has good air flow are not all that common.

@manuel0578 There's been something of a trend in recent times back towards the physical buttons as various manufacturers have realised that touchscreen/touch button controls aren't fit for purpose for a lot of the functions of a car. Mind you, for cooking, my experience is that for Some things touch buttons are a huge step up... and for others they just make everything more difficult. And the difference is quite simple: when the button does one thing, maybe two, same as it would if it was a physical button, it's great. When instead there's a bunch of menus and layers so that you can use maybe four buttons to do the job of what should really have been three dials? kind of awful.

Seperately, there is also 'fan bake'. The difference between 'fan forced' and 'fan bake'. Far as I can tell, fan bake mostly gets used for preheating the oven faster, or making sure things on different shelves cook at the same speed. The difference is a matter of where the heating elements and fan(s) are positioned relative to each other.
