  1.  @GreatSageSunWukong  The freezer is at the bottom because, as a general rule, the bottom is more awkard to get at and the freezer is the part you need to get at least often (well, of the two doors, anyway.) Makes good sense from a usability/accessability stand point if you must have both in the same unit. Makes negative sense from an simplicity/efficiency stand point, of course. edit: Also what MrSheckster said above.)
