  1. Quite a lot of them recomend products like the Finish nonsense in the video due to brand deals. So ignore anything that recomends a Specific brand, because that's just paid advertising. Amusingly, my Dishwasher not only had words to that effect, but actually came with a sample of such stuff.... and dire warnings not to use it with anything but the basic default setting because, unlike cheap powder, it's not actually compatible with any of the other cycle options.

  2. honestly, foil or plastic, that water soliable crap is just straight up intentional, unnecessary polution going straight into the water.
